Overnight Stock Associate

Description:

A key position we need to fill is for dedicated and dependable Overnight Stock Associates who will have a significant impact on maintaining our stores' inventory levels and organization for the following day's business. The role entails the essential tasks of unloading, sorting, and shelving products with precision and timeliness overnight, which is fundamental in ensuring our stores are set up for a productive day of operations. This job requires both independent work and collaboration within a team to deliver a well-prepared sales floor.

Responsibilities:

• Unload products from delivery trucks in a timely and secure manner while ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
• Effectively organize and handle incoming stock in alignment with the company's specified procedures.
• Arrange products onto shelves, racks, and displays within assigned sections of the store.
• Maintain the organization and upkeep of the storage area at the back to guarantee the smooth and effective retrieval of products.
• Prior to the store opening, it is essential to maintain a tidy and well-organized sales floor by ensuring that the area is free of clutter and kept clean.
• Help with getting products ready for marketing campaigns and special offers.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations in order to uphold a secure and protected workspace.
• Effectively communicate with team members and store management about the status of inventory and stocking advancements.
• Training will be given on how to safely and effectively use machinery like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Ensure that merchandise is accurately managed and stocked at all times to maintain efficiency and organization.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in adhering to directions and protocols efficiently.
• Having strong organizational abilities and the capacity to determine task priorities effectively are essential qualities to possess.
• Having good physical endurance and the aptitude to pick up and transport goods (within a designated weight threshold) are essential requirements for this role.
• Capability to remain upright and ambulate for prolonged durations.
• Dependable and timely with a solid dedication to work.
• Availability for working overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays is required for this position.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent level of education is preferred.
• Having previous involvement in stockroom or warehouse functions can be advantageous.
