Buffalo Wild Wings is currently seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Front of House Manager

As the Assistant Front of House Manager, the main objective is to support the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations, with a particular emphasis on training, overseeing, and mentoring staff and managers to ensure smooth shift operations and customer contentment.

Primary Job Duties and Role Expectations

Team Responsibilities:

  • Schedules follow-up interviews and organizes orientation plans for new hires.
  • Oversees the onboarding procedure for fresh staff, involving leading workshops and addressing documentation needs.
  • Adds fresh members to the Aloha and CTUIT programs.
  • Ensures that all team members meet the necessary onboarding criteria.
  • Coordinates training schedules for recently recruited team members to adhere to during onboarding.
  • Only Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) have the authority to develop training timetables.
  • All training records must be completed and turned in by the end of the sixth day as confirmed.
  • Verifies the ongoing supervision of training procedures and validates the prompt finalization of all paperwork.
  • Facilitates post-shift training discussions with team members and trainees in the WCT department.
  • Position validation forms need to be turned in by the end of the sixth day, unless an extension is necessary.
  • Position validations are exclusively authorized to be carried out by the Training Manager or General Manager within the company.
  • Establishes and oversees a group of Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) responsible for conducting training sessions in various restaurant departments.
  • Two operational wireless communication tablets must be available in every specified section of the dining establishment.
  • Maintains the office folder in order with the latest WCT assessment documents.
  • Leads regular monthly meetings for the WCT.
  • Evaluations are conducted twice a year.
  • Guides the procedure for launching fresh menu offerings.
  • Provides ServSafe training for all staff members at WCT.

Responsibilities of supporting the Front of House (FOH) staff:

  • Complies with the mandated guidelines and standards established for staff members who are being tipped.
  • Oversees the beginning and concluding responsibilities of staff members who collect tips.
  • Servers or bartenders must switch to being paid the minimum wage for Front of House Support and log out of their tipped earnings if they spend more than 10 minutes per hour on non-tipped duties.

Guest Responsibilities:

  • The system manages customer inquiries and monitors critical alerts.
  • Addresses guest concerns promptly and forwards Guest Comment forms to the Regional Manager for review.
  • Enhances guest interactions through adept utilization of strategies to effectively engage with them and elevate their overall experience.

Quality Operations:

  • Conducts a thorough evaluation of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) on a quarterly basis.
  • Handles all purchasing responsibilities excluding items supplied by McLane.
  • Ensures high standards of operational procedures are maintained.

Sales and Profits:

  • Invoices are entered into CTUIT by utilizing automated features for most of the data input.
  • Oversees the financial operations accounts payable division at CTUIT.
  • Implements tactics in operational processes to stimulate an increase in both revenue and earnings.

Communication:

  • Encourages open and effective communication among team members and between team members and supervisors.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that every training session is carried out with precision and excellence.
  • Supporting the advancement of accredited instructors specializing in wing evolution.
