Part Time Stock Associate

Description:

As a Part-Time Stock Associate at Ross Stores, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing directly to the smooth and efficient flow of merchandise within the store. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to ensure our sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing for our customers. You will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the store by processing and placing merchandise accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and process new merchandise shipments according to company guidelines.
• Organize and stock merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring items are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
• Maintain the back stock area, keeping it organized, clean, and safe.
• Assist in locating and retrieving merchandise for customers and other store team members.
• Ensure accurate pricing and tagging of merchandise.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and fitting rooms.
• Assist with inventory counts and other stock-related tasks as needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to prevent loss and ensure safety.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store leadership.
• Provide excellent customer service by being knowledgeable about product locations and assisting customers with their inquiries.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, up to a specified weight limit on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Flexibility to work a part-time schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
