Buffalo Wild Wings is currently seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Hospitality Manager

The Assistant Hospitality Manager is tasked with supporting the General Manager in managing the restaurant's operations, which encompasses guiding, overseeing, and coaching staff and leadership to guarantee seamless shift execution and client contentment.

Key Duties and Assignments

Team Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the second round of interviews and schedules orientation sessions for newly hired employees.
  • Conducts onboarding sessions for fresh team members and supervises the fulfillment of necessary documentation as a component of the procedure.
  • Onboarding new employees onto the Aloha and CTUIT platforms.
  • Ensures that all team members go through the onboarding process successfully.
  • Develops training routines for new team members and conducts them as part of the orientation process.
  • Only the Certified Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) have the authority to establish training timetables.
  • Ensuring that all training materials are completed and properly documented by the end of the sixth day.
  • Daily monitoring of training procedures is conducted to ensure that all documentation has been successfully finalized.
  • Training meetings with WCT and trainees are coordinated at the close of business hours to facilitate learning and development opportunities.
  • By the sixth day, individuals are expected to complete the validation forms for positions, unless they have asked for an extension.
  • Position validations can only be carried out by individuals who have been given the authorization to do so, namely the Training Manager or General Manager.
  • A team of Wing Certified Trainers (WCTs) is put in place to supervise the training across all areas of the restaurant.
  • The mandate is to guarantee that every area within the dining establishment has a minimum of two functioning wireless communication tablets available.
  • It is verified that the office binder holds up-to-date and precisely organized WCT assessment records.
  • Conducts regular monthly WCT meetings in adherence to the established timetable.
  • Conducts performance assessments twice a year.
  • Plans the launch of recently added menu items.
  • Conducts ServSafe training sessions for all WCT employees.

The Duties of Front of House (FOH) Support:

  • Follows the established protocols set by the organization for staff members who receive tips during their regular duties.
  • Oversees the initiation and completion activities for employees who receive gratuities.
  • If servers or bartenders dedicate over 10 minutes per hour to tasks beyond their usual tipped responsibilities, they are required to switch their payment classification to the minimum wage rate for Front of House Support, resulting in them no longer receiving tipped wages for that period.

Guest Responsibilities:

  • Effectively handling guest complaints and promptly addressing Hot Alerts.
  • Addresses guest issues promptly and submits Guest Comment forms to the Regional Manager (RM) within the specified timeframe.
  • Displays a high level of skill in interacting with customers to guarantee their contentment with the service received.

Quality Operations:

  • Four times a year, a thorough examination of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) is conducted.
  • Processes requests that fall outside the standard McLane system protocol.
  • Adheres to high-quality operational protocols.

Sales and Profits:

  • The process involves inputting all invoices into the CTUIT system, with a notable amount being processed automatically.
  • Oversees and manages the processes related to accounts payable within CTUIT.
  • Strategic operational approaches are employed to drive sales and improve profitability.

Communication:

  • Ensures that there is transparent and effective communication among team members and between the team and leaders.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Guarantees a seamless and accurate implementation of the training procedure under all circumstances.
  • Assists individuals in navigating a course to achieve certification as trainers in wing growth.

The responsibilities of this role are subject to potential modifications by the company or General Manager and serve to provide a broad overview of duties rather than an exhaustive list of tasks.

Physical Demands:

  • Alternating between sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving at regular intervals throughout the workday.
  • If the physical requirements of the job become too burdensome, it is advisable to inform either the General Manager or the HR department.
