As a Retail Inventory Associate at Ross Stores, you will be a crucial part of maintaining efficient and accurate inventory levels within a specific store location. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and stock merchandise on the sales floor and in backroom areas according to company guidelines.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
- Assist with pricing and tagging of merchandise as needed.
- Collaborate with store team members to ensure smooth and efficient inventory flow.
- Utilize inventory management systems and tools effectively.
- Support loss prevention efforts by adhering to inventory control procedures.
- Communicate any inventory-related issues or concerns to the appropriate team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and move merchandise as needed.
