As a Retail Sales Associate at Ross Stores, you will be an essential part of creating a positive and efficient shopping environment for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, offering assistance and answering questions about merchandise.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and well-stocked sales floor, including arranging merchandise and ensuring proper visual presentation.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and pricing new merchandise shipments.
• Contribute to the prevention of loss by being attentive to customer activity and adhering to security procedures.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals and contribute to the overall store sales objectives.
• Stay informed about current promotions and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a positive work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and other tasks as needed.
• Uphold Ross Stores' commitment to customer satisfaction and brand standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of merchandise.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
